Classic Hotel @ Walk in Nizamuddin Railway Station

The one good thing is the location, right outside Nizamuddin station. The room had decent space, but cleanliness was only two-star, and they didn’t bother changing the sheets, linen, or pillow covers. The reception was usually empty and management felt very unprofessional. No landline in the room, water heater, glasses, plates, lift, or TV. Most fans were in poor shape and noisy. Don’t expect a hotel-like stay. It’s only worth considering for a short budget stop or a transfer.

I paid online for a deluxe room through Expedia and had a booking confirmation, but when I arrived, a Roomshala employee had apparently told reception not to hand over the room unless they got extra money. The area felt very unsafe, the room was filthy, and there was no room service. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Roomshala is a fraud company.

The location was good, but the stay was awful. They tried to charge us more because we were foreigners, then asked for another 10% service fee when we checked out. We refused that. We’d paid for air conditioning, but there was no remote and it wouldn’t work. There was no TV, though they did give us a remote. The toilet wouldn’t flush, two outlets were dead, and the bathroom lights stopped working, so we showered in the dark. We had no towels or pillows and had to ask four times. It’s cheap, but avoid it. The hotel also uses three different names, which made it really hard for our driver to find.

The staff treated us very well, and the rooms were good. It’s an excellent hotel close to the railway station, and I suggest people come and stay here.
