FabHotel The Royal

The Fab Royal Hotel is praised for comfortable beds, clean rooms, a handy location, and staff who are polite and helpful. People also mention good food and amenities such as a rooftop pool, along with fair value, warm hospitality, and an enjoyable stay overall.

The rooms and bathroom were clean, but service barely existed. A basic bread omelette order could take ages and was often delivered to the wrong room. Towels weren’t changed unless I asked, the intercom didn’t work, and there was no food menu or price list.

This feels more like a motel than a hotel. The rooms are cramped, and the manager is rude and disrespectful toward women. He would knock on the door for no reason when nobody was around, which raised serious safety concerns. Food was unhealthy, tasted bad, and was whatever they chose to serve. They didn’t clean the room or change the bedsheet, and there was no bathroom kit or proper drinking water. The staff’s behavior was awful. There was no senior person there, just some young men running the place who treated customers rudely. This doesn’t feel safe for women. If you have another option, don’t stay here.

There was a current in the electrical board. We told the staff, but they blamed the rain, and didn’t listen when we asked them to change it. There were also water problems, dirty bedsheets, torn towels, and no room cleaning or drinking water bottles. The staff were uncooperative and rude to women, and I didn’t feel safe. There’s no restaurant in the hotel or nearby, so even getting tea means sorting out all your food yourself. Very disappointing.
