Hotel Aeroporto

We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant. The elegant setting had a lovely city view, and Govind was attentive and took care of all my requests. He also recommended some great dishes. The food was flavorful and the portions were generous. A good fine-dining experience.

The reception person asked for my mobile number when I was leaving, saying he needed to check the order and take a photo of it. I gave him my phone, but he opened the review link and gave the hotel five stars himself. When I challenged him, he said they offered low-priced rooms. I told him that wasn’t my problem and that the review was mine to write. He said sorry and left. That was very unethical, and I think people should avoid this property. The room looked average, but the bathroom was awful. The taps were rusty and looked about 50 years old, the basin was large but badly fixed to the wall, and there was no water heater. The toilet’s water system didn’t work, so I had to use a bucket. The storage tank was open and looked very dirty, and the bucket was dirty too. The bed covers weren’t good either.

The staff were cooperative and let me choose a room, but every room was the same. I booked through Booking.co because the hotel looked fabulous for the price, but the room was pathetic, with cockroaches in the washroom and dirty bedsheets.

The hotel was well maintained, and the staff were decent. The manager was especially cooperative and gave special service. Overall, I had a good experience.
