Hotel D'Capitol- Delhi Airport

The staff were polite, but the room and bathroom were poorly maintained and unclean. The sheets and pillowcases didn't look changed, and there was a hole in the bathroom. I slept badly all night because of it. The food was disappointing too. It seemed stale and smelled unpleasant. I expected a convenient, decent-quality stay, but the cleanliness, maintenance, and food left the experience unsatisfactory.

The sheets had lipstick stains, and black marks covered the duvet covers. There was visible mold too, so the room felt like a health hazard. I couldn't feel safe or clean sleeping there. Basic cleanliness was ignored, and the whole place was revolting. I wouldn't recommend staying here to anyone, even for free.

The room itself was okay. We had a triple room, with a large king bed and an acceptable single bed. But there were no towels, hangers, or other basics, and there is no lift, so it was unpleasant watching the boys carry suitcases up the stairs. I called while booking and confirmed breakfast would be ready by 7:30. When we came down, there was literally nothing. After an argument, they brought toasted bread with no jam or butter. Hot water also didn't come until late, so we had to bathe in cold Delhi.

The Deluxe King Room I booked through MakemyTrip looked nothing like the photos. It was very basic, with peeling paint, an AC that barely worked and dripped water, and a TV that didn't work. There was no drinking water at first, and the bathroom had only handwash, with no soap, shampoo, or towels. Breakfast was included but had few choices. As a vegetarian, I could only get bread. I ordered coffee and was charged for it at checkout. After I spoke to reception, they brought water once, sorted the breakfast charge, and supplied bathroom items. Having to chase them for things every guest needs showed how poor the service was.
