Hotel D'Presidente

The staff were friendly and helped with anything we asked, even letting us use their business phone to order food. Their service was the one thing I couldn't fault. Still, I wouldn't recommend the hotel, especially to international guests, unless the problems are fixed. The bed was so hard I needed two extra mattresses, extra duvets, and three pillows underneath me to sleep. The bathroom needs a complete overhaul: the shower was dirty and covered in limescale, the faucet leaked, and hot water lasted only 5-7 minutes before turning cold. I stayed nearly a month and could wash my hair only once. The geazer water outlet was covered in black mold and looked like it had never been cleaned or disinfected. The food menu was very limited, and most dishes were so oily they made me sick twice. We ended up ordering from Zamato every day. The room also needs updating. The blinds were threadbare, the tables under glass covers were extremely dirty, and it looked like the covers were never lifted for cleaning. The fridge was rusty and leaking water and urgently needed replacing. Other local guests talked across the hall to family in other rooms, standing in open doorways as if they were at home. The hotel should make it clearer that guests need to respect others and keep noise down, especially in common areas. The room also didn't seem designed for international guests.
