Hotel Imperial Villa

We paid through an app for free breakfast and, after calling three times, got the so-called pathetic breakfast at 12, even though they expected us to check out by 11. The most horrifying part of this stay was the staff bringing 4-5 people around us and treating us badly, then demanding more than half our booking amount upfront because we were 30 mins late checking out. We weren't at fault. When we refused to pay extra, the hotel guy literally said to me, “Police bula lo,” and threatened not to let us leave the property. I was honestly very scared. The staff were the worst I've met, especially the manager, who kept arguing and fighting with us and seemed like he might hit us or do something. The most horrible hotel stay of my life. Worst experience overall!

The only two good things are the location, literally 10 seconds' walk from the metro station, and the 24/7 secured car parking. The rooms were damp and unclean, with full AC but no windows or ventilation. The bathroom was the worst, full of bugs and larva. The geyser wasn't working. When I explained that my husband had a cold and needed a hot shower, they brought me 2 buckets of hot water. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

They made us switch rooms three times, supposedly trying to find one that was at least acceptable, but every room was awful. The rooms and shared areas were filthy, there was a horrible smell from the pipes, and the rooms had no refrigerators. They call them Luxury Rooms, which is hard to believe given their condition. There was no hot water or toilet paper, and we got just one old towel for a double room. Even when we asked for another, they wouldn't provide one. Two single beds had been pushed together, with one short single duvet laid across them. The staff seemed very young and the service left a lot to be desired. At checkout they didn't want to give us an invoice, and I still need to complain about that. For this price there are plenty of other options. This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. It's so bad it should be torn down. Don't even consider going.

The staff at the hotel and in the dining area were unprofessional and seemed ready to argue whenever we asked for anything. During our stay today, the water was cut off at 12:30, just half an hour after we checked in around noon, and stayed off for about an hour. The room lights, TV, bathroom lights, and taps weren't working either. They don't even have basic amenities or service. I've seen dharmsala places costing 300-400 that were far better. One of the worst hotels I've been to. A really disappointing stay at imperial villa.
