Hotel The Kelvish Delhi Airport

After a long journey, we wanted to rest, but the man at the front desk said check-in would take five minutes. We had to argue to be checked in right away. The room was hot because the AC wasn't working well. There was no toilet paper, the toilet wouldn't flush, and it already had yellow liquid in it. The whole room smelled like cigarettes, and there were flies too. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

The room didn't match the photos, and the bed linen and pillows were very dirty. It smelled bad, the bathroom was dirty, the shower wasn't proper, and there was no hot water. We skipped breakfast and dinner because the dining room was filthy. The hotel was noisy, and the surrounding area looked unsafe. We booked through Booking.com, and the photos and comments there were accurate. We got a message from booking saying the reservation had been cancelled, but we stayed anyway. They are scamming Booking to avoid paying fees. The taxi to the Airport was overcharged by 100 INR. It's the principle. Choose another hotel!

The receptionist was friendly and helpful, but that was the only good part of my stay. My second-floor room was filthy, with stained sheets and even boot prints on the bed. Cockroaches were everywhere, and the noisy room and faulty air conditioning made it hard to rest. I won't be coming back.

The staff were VERY nice, but I regret staying here during my one-night flight layover. The hotel is old, and the halls and rooms are LOUD. Gaps around every room door mean slamming is constant. I chose it partly because it advertised 100+ mbps Wi-Fi, but I got only 8, which made booking flights, hotels, activities, and transport difficult. Sending photos or videos wasn't possible at that speed. And why is there a metal detector at the entrance?
