OYO 11505 The Villa Classic

The room service was good and the food was okay, but I'd only consider this for a night in transit or a short stay. It's a simple budget hotel, a bit far from the airport, and didn't quite match what was advertised online, though it was acceptable. Check-in took a long time, and the front desk staff need improvement. The entrance is narrow, with stairs up to the first-floor reception and hotel, so big bags could be a problem. Better to call ahead if you're carrying a lot.

The TV didn't work, the bedsheets were dirty and stained, and the beds themselves weren't clean. The geyser also failed most of the time. On top of that, there was no basic welcome bottle of drinking water. The room I got smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, probably because the previous guests had just left. I asked to switch because I couldn't stay in it, but staff said there were no rooms, though I later found out there were. I ended up going out and roaming around because I couldn't bear to stay there. After several follow-ups, a staff member sprayed room freshener at night. It helped a little, but not much. The next morning they said breakfast wasn't available because the chef hadn't come, and didn't arrange anything from outside either. They told me to figure it out myself. The hotel has no lift. I booked through OYO, and I'm surprised by how misleading the reviews on its website seemed before booking. A lot of improvement is needed.

The bathroom needs to be cleaner, and the food is very oily and unhealthy. Breakfast is okay but not enough. I kept asking for tea without sugar and each time they brought it with twice as much sugar. It's only really budget friendly. Staff seem untrained and confused, and the management doesn't feel up to OYO's standard. OYO should improve its auditing.

The room and bathroom were very clean, and the WiFi was fast, strong throughout the hotel, and never cut out. Room service was just okay and the food wasn't bad, though I'd suggest nearby restaurants or ordering online. There are nice places to eat close by. The hotel sits right on Vasant Kunj Marg in Mahipalpur, near the airport. There's no elevator or in-room kettle, but the bathroom has a geyser for hot water.
