OYO 12673 The Diplomat Inn

Breakfast was included, but the hotel didn’t provide it. When I asked for plates and bowls, staff said they would cost extra, and the front office staff were rude. On arrival, the receptionist charged 300 rs for my 6 years child. I asked for a room above the ground floor but was given one on the ground floor. It had no set top box, the wardrobe couldn’t be opened, the shower was burst, and the toilet roll holder was broken. The washroom was in a terrible state, and the towel was torn. Worst hotel, don’t come here.

The food was fine, but I wouldn’t say the stay was worth the cost. The location is awkward, and food delivery services and Ola/Uber drivers had trouble finding it. The mattress and towels weren’t fresh or properly clean, and there were stains.

After two days, I got a call from Hotel Diplomat Regency accusing me of stealing their room key and threatening to complain to the police. I believe it was retaliation for the feedback I’d left. At check-in, the receptionist, Jitender, was extremely rude and said he wouldn’t give us a room if I paid online because he’d receive the money late. We paid then and made a complaint and wrote a review. Never use this hotel. Stay away from this property.

There was water seeping through the walls, and the rooms felt very cheap. I can’t recommend this property. The receptionist, a guy around 40, was very rude to customers. They don’t know basic manners and treated us like they were doing us a free social service, even though we were paying to stay.
