OYO Flagship 70301 Hotel Blue Orchid

What bothered us most was being steered away from the Hotel Orchid booking we had made through OYO. We arrived expecting to check in, but someone over a microphone directed us to another hotel, whose staff said our reservation had been moved there. When we went to Hotel Orchid to confirm, people from the other property kept interrupting and pressing us to stay with them. Nobody gave us a clear explanation, and the whole situation felt deceptive and intimidating. The room they showed us was in poor shape and nothing like the online description. People seemed focused on getting money instead of answering our questions. Around the property, groups were hanging about, smoking openly and watching arrivals. We were visitors unfamiliar with the area, and my father immediately felt it was unsuitable for our family. The surroundings made us uneasy from the start. We decided not to stay, picked up our luggage, and walked away. We tried another hotel that looked more respectable, but its main entrance was locked. Even at the metro station, a vehicle stopped and offered us a ride we hadn't asked for, and we just wanted to get out of the area. The experience left us feeling unsafe, misled, and deeply disappointed. I urge OYO to look into the property and the booking practices nearby, especially if guests are being redirected without consent. Travelers should be able to rely on the hotel they booked. This seriously damaged my trust in the booking process, and I'd tell others to be very cautious and check the location and surroundings carefully.
