OYO Townhouse 080 Meera Bagh

There was only one person available to help at night, and customer care was useless. It took two hours to get linen from that person, and it was still dirty. The hotel was filthy, the toilets weren’t clean, and even breakfast was served in dirty dishes with nobody around to help. The water stopped while I was bathing, which was a shock in the morning. A very shabby hotel and a miserable experience. This was my third poor experience with Oyo, and I think they can’t manage things because they’re growing too fast.

The location is very good, right on the road, and the staff were polite. Check-in was smooth for the room that was ready, and otherwise it was a nice stay. We’d booked two rooms, but the second wasn’t ready. Staff first said it would take five minutes, then after we called reception, asked us to wait another 5 to 10 minutes. We’d checked in 1.5 hours after check-in time, so we expected it to be ready earlier. Maybe the time pressure is why that room’s bathroom hadn’t been cleaned. We also tried calling the hotel several times on different numbers before check-in to make sure the rooms were ready, but couldn’t reach reception. Recommended, despite those issues.

We booked an OYO townhouse expecting better than other OYO rooms, but it was horrible. The room had old sheets and a blanket and was completely dirty; the bathroom wasn’t clean either. The lift didn’t work, and there was no breakfast even at 8am. They said it was cold and they’d start serving later. This was my second bad OYO experience. My advice is to check the room before paying instead of trusting the photos.

I paid INR 2400 expecting a 2 star facility, but even a local Lodge for 100 rupees would be better. The staff were okay, but the dust gave me an allergy while I was there. The bed was dirty and covered in hair, and there was a shoe print on the pillow. It was the dirtiest room I’ve ever stayed in. I trusted OYO, but I’ll never go back. Don’t ever book this hotel.
