Royal Town By OYO Rooms

During my stay from 5th November to 6th November, Oyo was informed about everything. I've never had a hotel experience this bad. The check-in table was covered with all sorts of things, from a register to plumbing tools. Room 106 had no working socket, or the sockets were behind the bed's headrest, so I couldn't plug in my charger. They did move me to a room with working sockets, but there were other problems, shown in the photos with this review. The geyser there didn't work either. When I told the receptionist, he replied, "to thnde paani se nha le" (then take a bath with cold water). I told Oyo, but got no realistic answer, only that they'd report it to their ground team and thank me for choosing Oyo. Oyo makes cheap, unhygienic, underrated places available and sells them with promises of hygienic, clean, and safe rooms. This place was none of those.

We booked twelve days ahead, and Oyo even called on the day to check that we were coming. When we arrived, they said they had no room because they were overbooked. They didn't call to cancel the booking, and their phone doesn't work, so I don't know how we're meant to reach them.

The nearby market is convenient, but getting around by public transport isn't really an option. You'll need a cab or auto to go anywhere. The rooms are pathetic and have no facilities.

This hotel was old and dirty, and the staff were very rude. I checked out immediately after checking in. I couldn't stay in the room for even five minutes.
