Trying to sleep in the morning was miserable because staff were playing Bollywood music loudly and taking phone calls nearby. The blankets weren't warm enough either. At night, the WiFi didn't work, and the walls were stained with tobacco. The staff don't know how to speak to customers. Do yourself a favor and don't book here.

My friend Larry booked a room here and couldn't sleep or get any work done all night. The kitchen next door was noisy with dishes being cleaned, and staff were shouting to each other. The place was dirty, the sink leaked, the WiFi didn't work, and there was no water all night. Staff were rude too. They clearly don't know how to keep the place clean or quiet. One of the worst places to stay in Delhi.

I paid in advance for Booking ID: RKCZ0753, but when I reached ‘Diplomat Hotel New Delhi’, they refused to check me in, saying there were no rooms available. I was new to OYO, and this turned into my worst experience with them. I called the OYO assist number from the reception, and they arranged another hotel under booking ID JCSM3564. That hotel also refused me, saying it had stopped accepting OYO bookings and wasn't responsible for reservations made through OYO. I reported both problems through OYO assist in the app and asked for my cancellation fee back. I sent several emails, but after 40 days there was still no refund or reply. After I posted my review on 30/07/2019, they replied today, 03/08/2019, offering this as an apology: “Please accept INR 300 Complimentary Stay as a token of our apology, on your next booking with OYO Rooms.” They still didn't address the refund that had been pending for more than 40 days, so I emailed them back about it. The OYO team has been horrible and unprofessional.

This was the worst hotel I've ever seen. I booked it through OYO, and my check-in was for 12:00 PM. The location wasn't as easy to reach as it looked, so I called ahead. They confirmed check-in was at 12. I arrived then, but around 12:30 they said there was a leak in the room and they were moving me to another hotel. They tried to justify it by saying I wouldn't have to pay for that. I called OYO and told them what was happening. I don't know exactly what the problem was, but I didn't feel safe or comfortable when they said they were shifting me elsewhere. Don't book here, especially if you're a couple.
