The food was tasty and the coffee had a real kick. Staff were supportive and quick to sort out any problems, and the location is the best deal you can get. It was a good experience, and I'll be back soon.

We only planned a short stop at this homestay with my family, to rest and freshen up while traveling. We booked one room for ₹1500 for three hours. That felt expensive, but we needed the rest, so we accepted the price without arguing. Near the end of the three hours, we politely asked for another thirty minutes to finish getting ready and packing. The owner refused and allowed only 10 minutes, even after we explained why we needed a little more time. The way he spoke to us was rude and unprofessional. At check-in his manner had seemed normal, but after payment his attitude changed, and it felt like he was focused on pushing us out as soon as time was up. We felt uncomfortable and unwelcome, which spoiled the visit, especially because we were traveling as a family and expected a friendly, peaceful atmosphere. I understand that rules can be strict, but they should be explained with basic courtesy. A polite explanation would have been professional; instead, we felt hurried out without enough time to prepare. In all my travels, I've rarely encountered conduct this rude. A homestay should offer a welcoming environment, and our experience was the opposite. I wouldn't recommend it to families or anyone expecting respectful service. Travel is tiring, and we book a place to rest. Kindness and cooperation matter more than the rooms or facilities, and they were missing here. Based on our short visit, I'd strongly advise travelers, especially families, to avoid this homestay. There are other places where guests are treated with respect. Whatever the price, the way people behave makes the biggest difference.

Guest safety and privacy were major concerns during my stay at Satwa Homestay. Staff recorded a video of a lady customer, which was a serious privacy breach, and we were threatened with being forced out at 3 AM. That felt unsafe and unacceptable. The staff's behavior was hostile and unprofessional. This conduct is unethical and has no place in hospitality. I strongly advise against staying here.

The location is good, and the reception staff were nice and welcoming, but the place isn't maintained properly and doesn't feel worth the money. The only reason to stay here is the location. They need to clean it and keep it in better condition.
