Treebo Ace Luxe

After seven years of corporate travel, this was my worst hotel stay. My company booked it through Thomas Cook, and my wife and I arrived exhausted to find the AC in room 305 wasn’t working. We were told a room change would take 10 minutes, but waited nearly an hour. The replacement room had a broken refrigerator too. After several calls and trips to reception, they swapped it for another one that also didn’t work. We asked repeatedly for a water bottle and never got one delivered that day. I finally went to the desk myself, then had to remind them another 7-8 times before it arrived. We also asked for two plates, but none came, so we ate off paper. There were four or five people at reception, yet staff would answer calls without hearing the full request, then hang up or ignore us. The service felt unprofessional, with no punctuality or concern for our comfort. For what the hotel charges, this was unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend it.

From 17 May 26 to 21 May 26, my room wasn’t cleaned once, even though I reminded them every day. The room service and general cleanliness were very poor. Hotel r may be listed as a service hotel, but that wasn’t my experience. One fair-complexioned staff member with hair missing at the sides acted as if giving me a room was a favor, and spoke in an extremely rude, uncivilized way. Refer to the attached picture.

I was there for four days and came back one night to find my room wasn’t as I’d left it that morning. Someone had gone in, ordered something, and who knows what else. I’d specifically told reception I didn’t want the room cleaned, and it wasn’t housekeeping, since they would probably have cleaned it. The crockery, towel, and drinking glass had been used. That’s what happened at this so-called “Treebo Acelux” while I was out exploring Delhi. You know what I mean.

We had a lovely stay. The room was very good, and the staff were helpful. Breakfast is included too. I’d definitely recommend it.
