The staff were quite helpful and available whenever we needed them, but we had trouble finding the hotel since there was no signboard or anything. The rooms were tiny, and the AC dripped water right over the bed, so it kept landing near my head and made sleeping difficult. When we tried to order food, the staff said most items weren’t available, not even a cup of tea.

They let me check out an extra hour later, which I appreciated. The room was bigger than what I paid for, but the room, sheets, and toilet weren’t clean. I had to get through a 10-hour stay without complaining. Breakfast was limited, and it wasn’t a buffet.

The room service was very good, and although the location was a little off the main road, GPS made it possible to find. I booked through OYO customer care after being assured it would be in a hotel, but at check-in it turned out to be one of their special OYO rooms. The lift didn’t work for two days, and since I was on the fourth floor, getting downstairs was a problem. OYO should check the basic amenities properly in advance.

Our family had a horrible experience. We’d given our check-in time in advance, but early in the morning we waited almost an hour at the gate while the property manager and everyone else slept at their desks. Doorbells, calls, and shouting at the gate got no response. Oyo’s call centre couldn’t reach anyone at the property either and did nothing about it. Once the sleepy manager finally appeared, it took another 45 minutes for the process of getting us a room. He asked for full payment in advance and gave us trouble over everyone’s IDs, calling Oyo about policies and checks while we waited in the lobby. The phones kept ringing in the room while we tried to sleep. I’ll avoid this place and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Oyo is generally good for budget stays and service, but here the service was horrible and the people were callous.
