Hotel Anjali

We stayed in suite 102 from 26th to 29th November 2025. The room and bathroom were spacious, but the hotel wasn’t worth what they charged. The room intercom didn’t work, and the bathroom towels could have been cleaner. There was no staff available before 9 am. The manager stood in the lobby wearing shorts and didn’t offer help while two of us, aged 52 and 75, carried our luggage to the car. We had to point out that he should at least ask a staff member to help load it. Not worth the price.

We ended up losing money and moving to another hotel because the rooms were unlivable. They were so dirty it looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in months, and there were cockroaches and lizards. We had initially booked six rooms, but some guests didn’t come, so we only wanted four. The hotel said we still had to pay for all six and seemed intent on getting as much money from us as possible.

The generator backup was a real help with the frequent, long power cuts, and there’s a working lift to the upper floors. The hotel is close to Jyotirlinga temple and had recently been renovated in October 2025. It was comfortable for me as someone driving independently, especially with the rare convenience of decent car parking. The WiFi worked well in every room, cleaning and maintenance were regular, and staff were pleasant and friendly. The rooms can fit larger groups, though the toilet amenities need upgrading and the entertainment system is still being upgraded. Food and drinks are reasonably priced. Commercial offices on the ground floor mean parked two-wheelers can make it crowded. Management’s welcome and farewell messages were a nice touch 😁. A good place for families and friends.

The food was the best part of my stay at Anjali hotel. Meals were fresh, full of flavor, and nicely presented, with plenty of international choices and a very good à la carte dinner featuring local specialties. The rooms were spotless and roomy, with tasteful decor that felt comfortable and elegant. Staff were warm, attentive, and seemed to care about the service they gave. I had a memorable stay and can’t wait to come back. A relaxing getaway with great hospitality, especially if you love food.
