Hotel Tripka Square

We booked 18 of the hotel’s 21 rooms, but the service was awful. Only three people were assigned to room service, and for three days there was just one staff member working alongside one female staff member. No one came to help with luggage from our bus of 40 passengers, so we carried it ourselves. The bathrooms weren’t clean when we checked in and flooded when used. Towels, soap, gel and other basics were missing. There were hot water problems too, so some of our group had to use other rooms where hot water was available. The food was poor. Breakfast was the same for both days, seemingly the previous day’s food again, and there weren’t bowls for dal or desserts, or cups for tea and coffee. Plastic cups had to be ordered later. Dinner wasn’t good either. The plates were dirty, and the dining area hadn’t been cleaned after the previous night’s meal. The hotel is 3 km from the temple by auto rickshaw. The price wasn’t worth it, and we feel we’re entitled to a refund. I wouldn’t recommend Hotel Tripika Square.

Breakfast came with the room, but there was only one item and it wasn’t ready on time. We were told to wait for tea too. The room was called Super Deluxe, though the facilities and condition felt very basic and disappointing. It didn’t live up to the price or what was promised. Not recommended.

The staff are kind and the hospitality is really good. Nice, clean rooms, and a peaceful place to stay.

A total waste of money. The staff were rude and unprofessional, the room was unhygienic, the washroom hadn’t been cleaned, and basic facilities were missing. This was the worst hotel stay I’ve had. Avoid it.
