The food took far too long, tasted awful, and I even found a fly in it. I reported it, but they still charged the full amount. The service was very poor, easily the worst restaurant I've been to. I wouldn't recommend visiting this hotel.
The room was tiny and in very bad condition, with no geyser. There was no lift either. The staff were rude and unhelpful, especially at the front desk, and they misbehaved with me.
They badly spoiled our family celebration. Staff kept interrupting us and were rude, and there was no management. The hotel owner was like that too. I wouldn't recommend this place for a celebration.
We really enjoyed our visit as a family. Aahar - E- Bangali has plenty of Bengali dishes along with Indian, Chinese, and continental food at reasonable prices. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and both the staff's manner and the overall service were appreciable. They also have a banquet and lawn for social or corporate events.
The hall is covered and has AC, and there's room for about 70 to 80 people inside. Outside, they can serve 100 to 150 at once. It's a fairly large venue and works for parties; I went for a reception. There were no fans in the hall when I visited, though, so if you're booking non-AC, check first. I was in a hurry and couldn't take a photo, otherwise I'd have included one with my review.
