Brij Anayra, Dharamshala | A Himalayan Luxury Retreat

We stayed in the Brij villa, with direct garden access and an amazing view. The lush gardens and scenery, lovely service, and yummy food really add to the charm of the Heritage Villas. Priya and Loveleen gave us a warm welcome at reception. The villas have direct access to the restaurant for breakfast and dinner, which was a blessing since it rained during our stay. Chef Naresh was wonderful. We got to try hi tea and local delicacies, including Siddhu. Ms Surekha took great care of us and was always smiling. We also had a complimentary foot massage from Ms Mami. The property is small, but the views and experience are wonderful. Spacious rooms, the bed, accessories, and reading nook all add to its charm. A memorable stay, highly recommend.

Mountain view balconies, lovely puri bhaji, and a memorable lawn high tea made our stay special. Labh Singh, Nisha, and Anudev offered personal, intuitive hospitality that felt like staying with friends. By the second day they knew our tea preferences, found us quiet spots, and handled special requests with ease. Sunil, Ishan, and Sonam kept everything running smoothly, and check-in was flawless. They also shared a fascinating history of the property. An outstanding Himalayan heritage retreat, and we'll return. 5/5

The setting is beautiful, with a breathtaking view that makes the hotel feel like a destination in itself, and the location is convenient. The rooms were elegant and thoughtfully designed, combining cozy comfort with a sense of luxury. The property also has the charm of luxurious history and a timeless feel. Every moment was peaceful and memorable. Definitely worth a stay for the comfort, elegance, and views.

We stopped at Brij Anayra for breakfast on a whim, and the mountain view alone made it a lovely pause. The range was right in front of us, and the place felt peaceful. We had hot, generously filled parathas, an omelette and comforting milk tea. The service was warm, attentive and quick. A nice spot to slow down and enjoy breakfast.
