The room had a lovely south-facing view, and everything was spotless. The bathroom had the comforts you'd expect in a modern setup, and the friendly staff helped make our time in town a great experience. Wi-Fi was the weak point: it worked well only near reception, and my room was far away. Also, bring earplugs if nighttime dog noise bothers you. The neighborhood dogs can get pretty vocal.

We stayed for nearly a month and felt welcome from the moment we arrived. The front desk team were friendly and professional, and went out of their way to help, whether we needed directions, ride information, local suggestions, or quick answers to questions and concerns. Their warm, attentive service made a real difference. The other staff and helpers were kind and courteous too. The hotel is conveniently located, feels safe, and is close to everything we needed. We'd happily stay again on our next visit, and recommend it to anyone wanting a comfortable, friendly place.

I was staying nearby and wanted to walk over to ask about rooms for the next few days. The woman at the counter was rude and ignored me when I asked if anything was available. After I asked several times, she looked at me and snapped, “For whom?” She then said there was nothing below Rs2500. I left wondering if she judged me by how I looked and assumed I couldn't afford that, or if she was simply nicer to non-Indians. I walked away and wouldn't stay somewhere that treats people disrespectfully or judges them by appearance.

The host was wonderful and friendly, and helped us with everything we needed. He let me use the terrace for my online yoga classes and the cafe for our online meditation class. The cafe and our room both had incredible views. The room and bathroom were VERY clean, and the cafe food was good too. I enjoyed the spring rolls and a nice latte. The location worked well, close to everything, with places to eat and shop on that street or the next one over. I'd book here again. There were a couple of bathroom problems, though: the toilet seat was held by just one bolt instead of two, so it was very unstable, and the shower head didn't extend past the faucet, making it impossible to stand directly under the water. Thanks to the staff for a great visit. 💗

I travel a lot and usually can't sleep in hotel rooms, but these rooms were so neat, clean, and welcoming that I slept like a baby. The rooms themselves are like any other hotel, and the view is good but not especially unique. What makes this place stand out is its location and service: it's near Dolma Chowk, with the market, auto, bus and taxi stands, and parking all accessible. The owner is cordial, the staff are good, and cleanliness is 10/10. I tried only Tibetan dishes at the restaurant, and the food was good. Both indoor and outdoor seating are comfortable; the outside area feels homey yet luxurious. They have little homes for birds that eat breadcrumbs or leftovers. One bird came right to my table, and after hesitating, joined me for a piece of my Tibetan butter bread.
