Nitin, the caretaker, looked after us so well. He was calm, supportive, and courteous, and made the hospitality feel especially warm. The staff were very polite, and the food had a home-cooked feel. Set among the mountains, the resort has lovely views and a peaceful atmosphere. Since it's down in the valley, the pick-up and drop-off service was handy. We had a wonderful stay.

We chose a cottage for one night because we wanted some quiet, and the view was excellent. The manager was courteous, and the driver who took us up to the mall as often as we wanted was very sweet. The road to the resort is extremely steep and scary, but their trained driver made going up and down much easier. Our cottage needs repairs, and it was disappointing that there was no AC or TV. Still, it's a good option if you just want peace and aren't looking for Mall Road or the city's bustle.

The views are breathtaking, and the food was lovely. Nitinji, the manager, was super helpful and took good care of us. A must-visit if you want a peaceful stay.

The view is good, but the other issues matter too. The private road to the hotel feels very risky, and there were spiders in the rooms. I wouldn't go here with kids.

The staff were so welcoming, and Ms. Tsering deserves a special mention. She gave us helpful advice on places to visit, shopping, and good local food spots, which made our trip better. We also really enjoyed the meals, especially the delicious, unusual mutton dishes. From the lunch room, there was a direct view of the beautiful surroundings, and our room looked out over the mountain tops. Hotel Belvedere Himalayan Retreat in McLeodganj made for a memorable visit, and we'd highly recommend it.
