Jai House

We stayed at the lowest price this place offered, and it was a good fit for a budget trip or solo traveler. The people were quite hospitable, and the rooftop restaurant had great mountain views. We ate there and found the food tastier than outside, as well as very reasonably priced. Our balcony room and washroom were pretty clean. We also used their taxi service to Dharamshala. It won’t burn a hole in your pocket. I’d definitely recommend it.

The Himalayas and town looked beautiful from here. Our hosts were welcoming and hospitable, and the staff helped carry our luggage. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the large balcony had enough room for two people to do yoga. Hot water, Wi-Fi, and all the amenities were available. We were completely satisfied with the service and grateful to Mr. Jai and his family.

The owner personally came to see us and check that everything was fine, and the staff’s behavior and food were outstanding. We had an amazing stay, with a spectacular view of snow-capped mountains from the rooms. What more do you need on vacation?

My room and balcony had a beautiful view, and the room itself was very nice. They refilled my filtered water whenever I asked. It’s a little way down some steep stairs, but the extra effort was worth it for the better view and slightly lower price than on the main road. Thanks for the stay.
