The hotel’s mix of Tibetan style and modern comfort, plus the cozy corners by the fireplace, made it easy to slow down and relax. Morning yoga, afternoon high tea, and evening music were lovely touches. Anshul looked after us so well in the restaurant and made sure we tried the Dham Himachali Thali. Chef Ankush checked that we were enjoying the food, then kindly prepared another treat at Anshul’s request, so we got to sample more local specialties than expected. We really appreciated the staff, service, setting, location, and facilities. A perfect place to enjoy the area.

The food was excellent, both from the menu and at the buffet, and the walks outside were enjoyable, with stunning views and wonderful air. As soon as we arrived, I felt my stress drop. It seemed like a place to rest and recover. But I didn’t get a single good night’s sleep. Noise carried from other rooms, and there was building or renovation work going on. The shower doors let water leak out and flood the bathroom, an easy fix. The guest manager said he’d try to move us or at least bring earplugs, but did neither. For a hotel calling itself five star, there’s plenty to improve.

We had a couples massage that was the best I’ve had, and my wife felt the same. My son came down with the flu, and the staff even sent him a personal get-well card and let him choose his pillows. The forest setting was quiet and peaceful, check-in was quick thanks to Dinesh, and the rooms were modern, clean, comfortable, and very well equipped. The chefs catered thoughtfully for lacto-vegetarian food. Thanks to Deepak, Balvinder, and the others whose names I can’t recall. The heated pool worked well in December, and the gym was decent. Every need got personal attention. I can’t think of any negatives, just good vibes.

We stayed in one of the villas a while back, and the rooms were comfortable and really nice. The butler service was great, and the staff were so helpful and hospitable. Food was awesome too, with plenty of good choices at both the buffet and dinner, including the Himachali menu. A bit late writing this, but I had an amazing stay and would recommend it.
