The Fern Shelter Resort Palghar, Series by Marriott

The location could have been closer to Kelwa beach, which was the one drawback. We stayed at The Fern in the last week of Dec2025, and it turned out to be a memorable stay that felt worth the spend. The rooms were neat and clean, with easy access to the big pool and its crystal clear water. Food and ambience were amazing, and breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all excellently prepared. The staff were courteous, approachable, and attentive to our needs. Service from the entrance door keeper through reception and the restaurant team was especially commendable. Live music during the dinner buffet added a lovely touch to the evening. The garden and pool area offered nearby activities. Rooms: 5.0, Service: 5.0, Location: 4.0 due to the distance from the beach. Hotel highlights: Luxury and Cleanliness. Safety: 100%.

The rooms were neat and clean, the food and ambience were amazing, and the pool was easy to reach. The staff were very cooperative. Ms Shivam Priyadarshi made us comfortable as soon as we arrived and provided the best facilities at the resort. He took great care of our needs and was easy to approach. Ms Vinayak also deserves a shout out for the support and care that made our stay more comfortable.

The arrangements for the Dubai Property Expo, which I visited today, were handled very well. Farn Shelter, Palghar is a pleasant venue, with a nice, well-maintained property and smooth, organized arrangements. Mr. Kirit Tiwari, Security Incharge, gave us a warm welcome and coordinated everything excellently. His support and hospitality made the visit comfortable. Overall, a satisfying experience. Highly recommended!

There was a power issue, which seems unfortunately common in the area, but the hotel handled it well with strong backup for the AC and lights. It's disappointing to have these problems persist just 1.3 hours from Mumbai. The Maharashtra Government and MSEB should address them to support tourism. We had a wonderful stay at The Fern Shelter Resort, Palghar. The security team welcomed us warmly, and the front office was professional. Vinayak from the concierge helped with our room, a kind gesture. It was neat, clean, and had a beautiful jungle view, and we received welcome cookies on arrival. The front office also arranged a complimentary dam visit in the hotel car, which was a lovely surprise. Dinner and breakfast were delicious, with compliments to the chef and service team. Special thanks to Ganesh and Shubham for excellent service. Kudos to General Managers Mr. Patil and Mr. Mathew, whose leadership and professionalism show in the team's hospitality. All the best to the entire Fern Shelter staff, and apologies for missing a few names. I'll definitely visit again with my family!
