Townhouse - The Urban Inn

The caretaker seemed a little confused, but was helpful, and the food was manageable. This is a new property with plenty of room to improve, and it felt overpriced. My room had just been painted and smelled so strongly that I had to move to a lower standard room. That room was full of mosquitoes. There was no soap, and the bed sheet was dirty.

The food was extremely tasty, and Deepak Das deserves a special mention for taking care of guests' needs. I booked a Suite room, which was spacious and clean, and the inn has parking too. The bathroom water pressure was low, the pillows were small and flat, the comforters had no covers, and the rooms are on the second floor with no lift. Still, the comfort, service, and food made those minor discomforts easy to overlook. I'd definitely stay again when I'm in Dibrugarh.

Caretaker Deepak was sincere and cooperative, and the stay was enjoyable and very reasonable. The place is peaceful with room to walk around, yet still close to Thana charali. Unlike most hotels in the busy market, it's quiet here. The rooms and washrooms are updated and well maintained. The complimentary breakfast needs better quality, and I strongly think it should be served from 8 am onwards so the day can start with a good breakfast.

The staff are courteous and professional, the rooms are clean, and everything you need is close at hand. There's also good food from Urban Palate. Townhouse - The Urban Inn is a comfy, cozy spot for travellers or family trips, with a break from the town's traffic noise and bustle.
