Hotel Seagull is a familiar, established choice in New Digha, within a short walk of the main beach and railway station. Families may like its spacious lawn and swimming pool, though it’s worth checking pool availability. The in-house restaurant serves a wide selection of quality Bengali and Chinese food. Some rooms, especially in the older wing, could use fresh paint or updated furniture, and service can be slow during busy weekends. It’s a comfortable mid-range option with good food for people wanting to stay near the New Digha action.

We spent three days at Seagull in mid February. The cottage-style rooms are lovely, with a beautiful garden in front, and the swimming pool is well maintained. Definitely paisa vasool.

The food tasted very nice and was good quality, and the service staff were humble and always ready to help. The soft furnishings are old and unclean, and need replacing. The blankets need cleaning too.

Seagull feels like a family home to us whenever we’re in digah, and we always stay here. The view is wonderful. Yesterday we saw some premium rooms they’ve added on the back side of the first floor, and they look well worth staying in. Sorry about the wrong review my nephew left. Seagull is awesome.

The hotel, its rooms, service, and location were all good, but I couldn’t sleep because a dog barked all night. Pets are allowed there, and I was disappointed and suffered through the night.
