Hotel Saramati

The laundry was top class and very reasonably priced, and they even arranged paperback newspaper delivery. The hotel is on a main road, with tourist spots, restaurants, and supermarkets within walking distance, plus a very large parking area on the grounds. It's run by a government agency. My room was big, though old and worn out. The AC and huge fan cooled it fast, so I kept switching it off and on. Service was only okay, and the staff seemed uninterested. There are no lifts, so you'll have to take the stairs to upper floors. I gave it four stars rather than three because of those nice gestures and the reasonable prices for its services. Recommended!

Hotel Saramati is a dependable, affordable choice in Dimapur, with spacious rooms, polite staff, and a decent restaurant for local and Indian food. It works for business or casual stays. The interiors could use a modern update, but it's comfortable for a short visit.

I come back to Hotel Saramati when I visit Dimapur, and I've had many good stays. The rooms are comfortable, and the staff are polite and accommodating. Two things could be better: the restaurant closes rather early for anyone wanting a later dinner, and the room doors have no manual lock on the inside, which would make the rooms feel more secure. I hope they make those small changes.

The staff's attitude was awful, with far too much ego. This was the worst hotel service I've ever experienced. It's high time the employees were replaced with young, enthusiastic people.
