We booked when we arrived, during the December 25 holiday rush, and it seemed to be the last room available. It was small, with a dirty bed and walls, an opaque mirror, and a broken toilet. There was no hot water either. When we asked, they gave us half a bucket of warm water for three people. A bad experience overall.

Hotel Premium is very close to the Diu bus stand, and I had a nice stay. The room was neat and clean, the staff behaved well, and it seems like a better place to stay with family.

The manager behaved well and the rooms were good, but staff didn’t have a spare key for my room. Another tourist had misplaced the only other key, and the manager knew about it, so I had to leave the room unlocked. The television wasn’t working either. It was very disappointing, and even after all that, the manager gave no discount on the final bill.

The room was quite good, with decent furniture and an adequately finished bathroom. There’s enough space for two people, though fitting four in would be cramped. The hotel is close to city attractions, has a decent view and parking, and lets guests check in at any time, with checkout at 11 the next day. We got a decent deal, but water didn’t arrive when the clerk said it would, and we had to ask for the towels that weren’t provided.

The staff were great and provided quality service, and the room was clean with a comfortable bed. Hotel Premium is well placed for exploring town, with everything from the bus station to the hospital nearby. We visited last week, and I’d definitely recommend it to people traveling to Diu city.
