The Citi Residenci Hotel - Durgapur

The virgin mojito was decent, but the rest of the meal at Half Moon Bay restaurant was a letdown. The Geloti kababs were meant to be lamb, yet they were soft, with no lamb taste or texture, more like nutri nugget/nutrela. The curries were creamy with coconut, but I couldn't taste Thai spices or Thai basil. The green curry was missing snowpeas and had zucchini instead, poorly done. There was hardly any chicken in the red curry, and it came with eggplant, which isn't traditional for red chicken curry. I ordered all of that hoping for Thai food, and the experience fell short. I'd avoid the Thai food unless it improves.

After 13 years, I came back here for a relaxing stay and had a very good time. It's right in the heart of the city, with plenty of food options nearby, and communication was good too. I'll stay here again when I return. Thanks.

Sangram made our dinner especially memorable with courteous, attentive service. The food was delicious and nicely presented, and I had a wonderful time at the restaurant. Highly recommend it.

The room's water faucets didn't work, and it wasn't ventilated well. We were eventually put in a corner room after waiting an hour, even though we asked three times and were told they were cleaning. The receptionist was rude and couldn't communicate properly. At checkout, there was nobody to handle the luggage. The whole place felt clumsy and disorganized, and I'm shocked it has a 3 star rating. Very disappointed, wouldn't recommend it.
