I spent two days at Maadathil Cottages and already want to go back. I even stayed on the property for a whole day without getting bored, just enjoying how much room there was to relax and wander around. The black beach is right in front, so I could head down whenever I felt like it. My room had a beautiful sea view, and the grounds were clean, spacious, green, and peaceful, with tree swings and room to walk or play. Everyone on staff, including the managers, was warm and helpful, and Almond Restaurant made meals easy. The food was good, too. It was such a comfortable, nature-filled place to unwind. I’d happily stay there again.

From the balcony and the indoor jacuzzi, the ocean view was the best part of my stay at Madathil Cottages. I booked the Extreme Sea View Room with Jacuzzi, and it was clean, comfortable, and well looked after. The whole place had a quiet feel. Waking up to palm trees and the waves, then having breakfast with that view, made for a really lovely getaway. Highly recommend it for a peaceful break.

I only stayed one night with my parents, but I’m already hoping to come back for longer. Maadathil Cottages felt so calm, with birds around and waves audible in the distance. Our cottage was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. The food was delicious, and the staff were kind, friendly, and always willing to help. It felt like a little piece of heaven. Thank you.

South side was so peaceful compared with the North cliff bustle, and staying at Maadathil Cottage made that quiet feel even better. It’s close to the beach, with spacious, beautiful rooms and lots of amenities. Everyone working there was helpful, kind, and well mannered. The place itself is lovely, and the food was good. Breakfast was included, which rounded out a really nice stay. I’d love to come back.

The cottages are awesome, with fantastic sunset views and the beach right beside them. It almost feels like a private beach. The property is beautiful, even though there was some construction going on when we visited. The restaurant is the part that needs work. Food choices are average, and the staff were super rude. They wanted us to order everything at once and weren’t considerate of the kids. Sort out the restaurant service and this would be perfect.
