Capital O 19554 Hotel Garden

Vijay and Hari on the night shift deserve a special thank you. They were supportive and really tried to help, even arranging a room change at midnight. Their kindness was the only bright spot. We checked in at Garden Hotel at night yesterday, and the room’s basic facilities weren’t working: the AC didn’t function, water leaked from it, and the TV wasn’t recharged. With both AC and TV out, it was extremely uncomfortable, and the room felt worse than an ordinary lodge. The hotel looks good in online photos, but our impression changed as soon as we arrived. Apart from Vijay and Hari’s help, it was a huge disappointment. This was the first time a hotel experience reminded me of the movie Parakkum Thalika (film acted by Dileep), and in a negative way. Very bad experience, avoid booking.

Salmon, Vijay, and Visu made us feel very welcome and looked after us throughout our stay at Hotel Garden Inn, Cochin. They arranged the rooms exactly as we requested and made sure our expectations were met. Their hospitality and attention to detail made the visit memorable. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Cochin. Thank you again for the warm service.

The room was just okay, but getting help was difficult because it seemed like only one or two staff were working all day, and often nobody was available when needed. The service and management were awful and unprofessional. Breakfast was tasteless and badly managed, and it honestly felt like they were ordering food from outside instead of preparing it properly. Very disappointing at Hotel Garden Inn, Cochin. Not recommended at all.

Rooms are average, so don’t expect anything luxurious. It works if you’re in Ernakulam for business and only need somewhere to crash for the night or spend very little time in the room. Food is okay, and the location is prime, with access to all parts of the city.
