OYO 81967 Hotel Galaxy

The room we got bore no resemblance to the large, nice-looking one we booked through Agoda. It was tiny, in awful condition, and smelled terribly. The sheets and blanket were dirty, the toilet wasn't clean, there were no toiletries or towels, and the lock was damaged. Staff were rude too. We arrived late while travelling to Haridwar for business and had no other option that night. It was a very bad experience, and I won't recommend Agoda, OYo, or Galaxy hotel to anyone. I'll post the same review on Google.

I reached Faridabad at 2 a.m. with a reservation, but they wouldn't let me stay. The hotel manager or owner wouldn't even open the gate, and on the phone I was just told to get lost. I asked OYO to help, but they did nothing. I ended up alone on the road with my bags, and eventually slept in a rickshaw. It was so cold my fingers were freezing and I could barely hold my phone. Nobody else would take me because of their check-in and check-out policy. OYO's customer executive only offered a refund, saying policy meant they couldn't do anything else. Is that policy really to leave a customer without a place at 2 a.m., whatever happens to them in the cold? OYO doesn't care. Why make false promises if it can't provide a stay? If you're coming from another city or booking from elsewhere, don't trust them.

Once they'd got my money, their attitude changed completely. Before check-in they spoke politely, but after I checked in they started treating me very rudely. I ignored the reviews and now understand why people complain. There were no toiletries and the flush didn't work. This hotel has only a name, no quality at all, zero service, and very poor staff.

The bathroom tap didn't work, the mattress was poor, and there were cockroaches everywhere. The room was awful.
