The host really gets what people from the city want from a beach stay, and was welcoming, easy to talk to, and engaging. The ginger tea was the best I’ve ever had, and I expect the food is just as good. There’s plenty of open space for parking and activities, and the place felt completely safe. With the sea sounds and warm breeze around, the spacious rooms and earthy architecture make this a lovely spot. A rare find along this stretch of beach.

The rooms and facilities were great for the kids and the whole family. We had a really good time, and the food was excellent, whether vegetarian or not.

All the rooms have AC, which is much needed in this location, and Haldipur beach is close enough to walk to. Turtle conservation activities are happening there. We spent a day at this peaceful homestay right by the beach and had a superb stay. The owner and staff were very friendly and took our questions seriously. I highly recommend it.

What made my stay at Rocky Beach Stay special was how warmly the owner welcomed me. I felt more like I was at a friend's home by the beach than at a guest's place, and the whole atmosphere was comforting and relaxing. The homemade food was simple and delicious, just like home cooking. Having its own private beach made the time there feel so peaceful. Between Honavar and Gokarna, this was one of the best stays I've had. I got the kind of moments I was hoping for, enjoying nature and feeling at home. It seems like a lovely place to make memories.
