The greenery view from the hotel sets a high bar for guest experience. Rooms, food, cleanliness and service were all top notch, from the receptionist onward. My whole stay was amazing, just excellent. I highly recommend hotel greenery view if you're planning to stay in Gangtok. Looking forward to visiting again.

The rooms at Hotelgreenery View were beautiful and very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Service was excellent, and the food was awesome. It's an affordable way to enjoy a bit of luxury in Gangtok, and I'd recommend it for a holiday or any kind of event.

The rooms are good, but they have glass ventilators with no grilles, which leaves them feeling insecure and short on privacy. The staff were unresponsive, irresponsible and ignorant. The place itself is awkward, lonely and scary. It's quite deserted, and taxis aren't always available. A ride to the main road costs at least Rs. 120, and getting to and from MG Marg costs Rs. 700.

The manager eventually took charge, dealt with all our complaints, and behaved nicely. He resolved our problems, and I hope the hotel becomes more responsible about guest service. At first, the toilet had broken accessories, water leakage and no exhaust. There were no tea, coffee or sugar sachets, and not even a bottle of water until we asked. Dinner had no dessert options.

The rooms were a bit nice, but everything else was worse. It's a very remote area, 7 kms from mg road, and there was no room service. Don't fall into their trap, search around and you'll find better options 🙂
