The caretaker's behavior was poor and he seemed careless. The rooms themselves are good, with attached bathrooms and hot water, and they also serve food. There is no parking for vehicles, though the hotel isn't bad overall.

It's clean and well maintained, and the food was good for Bengali tastes compared with food at package hotels. The location is very close to the taxi stand. The rooms aren't especially good, and this isn't a deluxe hotel. Make sure the food and room charges are clear before you go in, so you don't end up with a big bill later.

We felt like kings in rooms 401 and 402, thanks to the manager giving us those rooms. The view of kanchanjangha from the windows was wonderful. The hotel is in a premium location, and the staff were very well behaved. It's an awesome place.

The rooms are good, and the staff helped a lot with travel around the area. Wi-Fi isn't available on the 2th floor, and the internet is slow. Smoking is said to be prohibited inside, but they smoke there themselves. Sometimes there's no water in the bathroom.

Pathetic place. When we arrived at 10am, nobody was at reception for at least 30 minutes. The whole place seemed to be run by just two guys, who cooked, handled security, and worked reception. Some bulbs didn't work, and there was no soap or shampoo. Gross.
