The restaurant staff were friendly and responsive, but that was the only real plus. We stayed at Sinclairs Ooty about a decade ago and had a very nice experience, so we chose Sinclairs Gangtok this time. We wouldn’t recommend it or stay here again. The bedsheets and blankets were soiled, and even replacement bath towels had stains. It seemed they were old towels used by guests for years, so ordinary laundry wasn’t enough. Tissues weren’t always replaced. Plates left in the passage overnight were still there until 10 am, and the food smell lingered outside our room. The parking area felt more like a place for taxis to turn around. Unless Sinclairs completely renovates, we won’t stay at another Sinclairs in any city.

Sujatha at the restaurant was especially kind, and all the staff were helpful and warm. The front office was quick and professional. Our room was spacious with a clean, tidy bathroom, and we enjoyed the panoramic view and delicious food. We had a wonderful stay at Sinclairs Gangtok and will definitely come back.

We had a lovely time here. The room was clean and had a great view, and they made sure our child had a proper bed with all the amenities. The food was good, and Sujata looked after us well at breakfast. I'd definitely say it's worth staying here.
