Leena Resort

The bathroom supplies that should have been there, including soap and toothbrush/toothpaste, were missing, and the buckets and mug were dirty. The room itself was unclean too, with a dirty bedsheet and insects, including spiders. We’d booked expecting the promised amenities, so the room fell short in every way. I was extremely disappointed with my stay at Leena Resort.

The food was the best part, the quality was right on point. We really enjoyed our time in this peaceful place, which had all the facilities. Leena Team, your hospitality is much appreciated. Thanks!

Finding this place at night would be hard without GPS. It’s uphill and off the road, and there’s no signboard for the Resort(?) at the entrance. The series of row houses sit on barren land, with no proper lighting or compound, and there’s a construction area with beams in front of them. The reception looked unfinished, with cement walls and no door. The staff weren’t in uniform.

The a la carte food was good and freshly made, though there weren’t many choices. You also have to tell them ahead about lunch and dinner so they can arrange the groceries. Breakfast is free, but there are only 2-3 options. The rooms were in a shattered state and the photos don’t show what they actually look like. It’s a bungalow society far from the station and Statue of Unity, set among jungle; at night it’s too dark outside to leave the resort because there are no lights. I don’t think a room should cost more than 1500. I’d seriously recommend cancelling and finding a premium hotel near or opposite the station, or near Statue of Unity. For a budget friendly, better value option, there are lots of homestays from 800-1000 rs, better than Leena resort, Leena enclave, or hotel kevadiya, since you’ll be out all day and only come back to sleep and have breakfast.
