Tent City Narmada (Tent City 2)

The property is pleasant, in a good location, and the grounds are kept reasonably well. The snooker table in the game area, though, is torn and needs maintenance. The cultural show repeats exactly each day, so a longer visit gets dull. There isn't any choice beyond the compulsory buffet. Even a basic roti-sabzi or dal-rice meal isn't available, so guests who want something light still have to take the buffet. Breakfast and dinner flexibility would help. In the room, fresh drinking water wasn't supplied daily unless we asked for cleaning. The beds are small for families of three or more, and although we paid an extra charge for our child, there was no extra bed. Several improvements to amenities, service, food options, entertainment, and upkeep are needed for the property to meet expectations.

Getting around the tent city was easy since they provide a golf cart to take you wherever you need to go. The tent itself was very nice and had all the amenities, though its AC alone wasn't enough in the hot summer; the standing fans they provide helped. We enjoyed the stay, and the food was very good. I wish there were à-la-carte dishes instead of only fixed meals, and some non-vegetarian choices alongside the vegetarian food.

Don't miss the water body next to the tent city at sunrise or sunset. We came as a big group and had a premium tent, which was spacious and clean. The restaurant was good, the pool fairly large, and the campus itself quite big. There isn't room service, and sometimes there are snails in the bathrooms. To get to the restaurant or other facilities, you have to wait for an electric cart.

We were here with family for three days and really enjoyed both the food and the service. The staff were polite, and they served Jain food right at our table. They also let us check in early. Thanks for taking care of us.
