The rooms were clean, and the hotel is close to Gaya railway station. A good choice if you want somewhere cheap to stay.

The food was good, and the rooms and bathrooms were clean. The location is okay, with the railway station nearby. Compared with the other lodges and so-called hotels close by, this place still seems a bit better, though it’s not really three-star. For around ₹1K, it’s doable for a night. The rooms are small, service is slow, and there’s no ventilation. The fans seem to have only settings 1 and 4, and some door latches are broken.

It’s a comfortable, decent hotel, but the service isn’t up to the same standard. The bathroom mirror wasn’t very clean.

I recently stayed at Hotel City Inn and had to pay extra for checking in early. My room was filthy, with dirty sheets, pillows, and blankets. The blankets smelled really bad, as if they hadn’t been cleaned in months. They did move me to another room after I complained, but this doesn’t deserve a three-star rating. The ratings shown on various hotel booking sites are misleading.

The people were nice, but the room had several problems: the TV and phone didn’t work, and there was an issue with water in the flush. I paid more than 3k for the room.
