The manager, Mr. Naveen, called as soon as he found my wife's phone in our room and arranged to send it back to us. We've received it, and we're grateful for his honesty. Our group of 15 from Bengaluru and Hyderabad enjoyed the stay and found the staff courteous and cooperative. We had misconceptions about Bihar and Biharis, but this experience changed them.

The Tuesday dinner buffet was excellent, and its price was part of our package. My partner and I arrived on December 30, 2025 (Tuesday) afternoon and left Wednesday morning, December 31, 2025. We couldn't have the included breakfast because of religious commitments, though we're sure it would have been good too. The room was spacious and nice, and our short one-day stay at ‘Hotel Jataka Inn’ was comfortable, clean, and pleasant. A very satisfactory visit. Cheers!

It felt as if they didn't want us to stay. A few staff members were friendly, but one tried to take my small roller bag from me and then asked for a tip. There was no heater in winter, so I had to request a space heater and tip for it. The rooms are old, the closet had just one coat hangar, and the furniture was extremely dirty and stained. Even the front desk manager was curt and unfriendly. I wouldn't recommend it.

Dinner was unforgettable, with a lavish spread of Asian dishes and cuisines. During my Bodhgaya visit, I also had a beautiful room, excellent service, and friendly, warm staff at Hotel Jataka Inn. Thanks a lot to the Jataka Inn, Bodhgaya team. I'd love to stay here again.

The buffet had limited variety, but every dish was tasty, and the restaurant service was good. The rooms are comfortable, though they need a little more maintenance and attention to cleanliness.
