Hotel Viraat Inn

Room 203 was a bargain for the one night we stayed, but basic upkeep was missing throughout. The TV didn't work, the geyser gave only warm water, and the power went out repeatedly, for nearly two-thirds of our stay. The emergency lights and fans worked, but we couldn't charge our phones. We were heading to Bodh Gaya in 10°C weather the next morning and there still wasn't hot water. The service desk said they'd send a bucket of hot water, but it never came, so we left without bathing. We'd seen very good online ratings, yet our experience was the opposite. I can't imagine wanting to stay another night. If negative ratings were an option, this wouldn't even get one star.

The sheets and curtains were awful, the bathroom was in very bad shape, and there were mosquitoes everywhere. The geyser had to be operated by a room boy or manager, and even then it didn't work, so we bathed in cold water in chilly weather. We stayed here two days ago, and it was a horrible experience. The room and hotel photos looked lovely, but the reality was completely different. Our cab driver had warned us against taking a room near the railway station and Bus Stand, saying places there take advantage of guests and don't provide facilities. This was a very bad place to stay in Gaya. Please don't stay at this terrible hotel.

I booked 14 rooms for my guests, and staying there turned out to be a horrible experience. The rooms and bathrooms weren't clean, there was no water or service, and nobody would take responsibility. It felt like they were running the hotel just for money, with no concern for the business or customer satisfaction. A very bad experience.

Staying here was easy and good value for money, with smooth, hassle-free service. Hotel Virat Inn is close to Gaya Junction railway station, which is handy for travelers. The rooms were comfortable, neat, and spacious.
