Hotel Mukund Residency

Our room at Mukund Residency was tiny and suffocating, and the bathroom was a disaster with a broken toilet seat. Breakfast was meant to be complimentary, but they refused to provide it because we checked out at 7 AM. We had booked for 3 adults and 1 child, yet they charged ₹400 for an extra bed. At checkout no one was there to help with our bags, so we carried everything ourselves. Earlier, the only housekeeping guy in the hotel was lazy and brought our luggage only after we asked several times. At 11 PM we were tired and stressed, standing at reception while the manager fumbled around for 30 minutes trying to find our MMT booking. I had even WhatsApped him the voucher, and we were left wondering if we'd be thrown out in the middle of the night. The receptionist had ignored us when we arrived, sitting arrogantly with his legs crossed and sleeves folded, glued to his computer. Total waste of money and peace of mind. Avoid this trashy hotel.

A complete waste. Room service is poor, water doesn't arrive on time, and the room isn't cleaned properly.

Good, very comfortable and secure hotel. The staff behave very nicely.

The hall on the ground floor was good, and the food served there was delicious when we booked all the rooms for wedding guests. In-room food was tasteless, though, and the portions were too small even for one person. Bathrooms were pathetic and kept clogging with hair, even in a new room. Lighting was very low, with only one or two rooms having good light, and we had to turn lights on in the morning. Rugs and bedding were clean but old and stained. We paid 2700 per room for 3 people, but the rooms were too small to fit a third mattress on the floor. The lifts worked intermittently. No soap, towels, toiletries, or anything else was provided until we asked.
