I barely stayed half an hour before cancelling and checking out, disappointed. The rooms were noisy and smelly, the cleanliness was below zero, and the ACs didn’t work. None had door keys either, which made staying feel unsafe. My booking included breakfast, lunch and dinner, but the hotel had none ready. When I asked, the manager blamed Oyo for fining them and said they were losing money. That wasn’t my family’s concern.

So many memories belong to this house, because I spent my childhood here. I still sleep in the same spot where my mother put me to bed when I was little, and I sleep well there. In another place I can’t fall asleep as quickly. I could buy another house, but this one will always stay with me.

There was hardly anything available, the food was poor, and the furniture was broken. Even the TV and its remote weren’t working properly, and there wasn’t any soap. If zero stars were possible, I’d give that. Please don’t stay here.

Once I said I’d file a complaint, they finally gave us a different AC room. We’d checked in at 9 pm, but the AC in our first room wasn’t cooling. The staff checked it and left, and when we called again ten minutes later, nobody came. We went downstairs to ask for another room, but they said everything was booked. We asked for our money back or to be moved to another one of their hotels, and the staff started shouting and misbehaving with us.

This Oyo left me with a bad experience, and now I feel like all Oyo hotels are the same. I booked three hotels in a row, each with a confirmed booking, but every one refused to let me check in. I wouldn’t recommend booking through Oyo.
