SinQ Symbol, Calangute

At Sinq Symbol Hotel I could relax easily after a long day because the accommodation was comfortable and well maintained. The breakfast spread had a great range of delicious choices. Service was commendable throughout, from prompt room service to the warm, humble welcome from the staff at reception. Everyone made me feel welcome and valued. It’s a pleasant mix of good hospitality, quality food and cozy accommodation, and I recommend it for a memorable stay. Thank you 405, 409

What stayed with me most was the lack of help when my daughter became ill. Around 11 PM she developed a fever, and when I asked reception about basic medicine, they said none was available and kept telling me to go to a nearby medical store. I couldn't leave her alone, so I asked if a staff member could help. The receptionist said only the manager could authorize it, but the manager had told them not to wake him at night. I then asked for salt to make a temporary salt-water compress. At first they said the kitchen was closed, then said they would arrange it, but nothing came even after I waited until about 1:30 AM. I finally went out myself around 2 AM and found medicine. I wish I'd gone sooner, but I had hoped the hotel would offer at least a little support. I understand there may be policies, but being refused even minimal help in that situation was very disappointing and changed how I felt about our stay at Sinq. There are good things here too. The property seems newly built and is well kept, the location is close to the beach, and dinner was tasty and well prepared. Most staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast could have more choice for the price, though. Parking is awkward: you have to leave the car by the roadside or use an open lot a little away, which was muddy when we visited and is offered at your own risk. The access road is narrow, so driving carefully is needed, though that should be less of an issue on a two-wheeler. The place has potential, but management needs to improve support during emergencies.

The food and service were great, and everyone on staff was polite. Soni, Karishma, and mithua were especially good.

Everything worked as it should, and it felt like good value for the money. I had a comfortable stay in a clean, quiet, well-managed hotel. The staff were attentive and polite, especially room service boy sagar, who was very cooperative.
