The rooms were comfortable and well maintained, and the view at Stone Wood Hotel is beautiful. Housekeeping and the rest of the staff made much of our stay pleasant. They were helpful, polite, smiling, and always just a call away. We were greeted well at reception too. The restaurant staff were great apart from the manager. He seemed reluctant about even basic requests and didn't seem to understand what we wanted, preferring to do things his own way. When we arrived, he said he'd make us a mocktail but brought only one glass, which felt odd. The food was average and could improve. It was also uncomfortably hot in the restaurant, with little ventilation or breeze, so eating there wasn't easy. Given that there's no hospital nearby, the property should keep a basic medical emergency kit for guest safety. It could also be more flexible with its rules and service. I'd return for the location and access to the less crowded Ozran beach, but hope the restaurant becomes more customer friendly, the food tastes better, and breakfast has more options.

The staff were great, especially Purba, Sajal and Barkha. They were very polite and friendly, and room service was good. Great location and good food, too. There were cockroaches, so the property needs pest control. The bathroom also smelled foul. I had to leave the exhaust fan running all the time because the smell came back if I turned it off for too long.

We were told a couple of clubs near the resort can be quite loud at night, but they were closed during our stay. We explored the nearby area until late and felt it was quite safe. The beach was clean, and the resort sits right at its edge with a great view. The restaurant was decent, though the breakfast menu could be improved. Paying 12k for one night in a decent room felt overpriced. The staff and receptionist were friendly and helpful.

The food was good, and I appreciated how friendly and helpful the staff were. But during my weekend stay at Stone Wood Beach Resort, a loud party played high music until around 6 AM, and I couldn't sleep properly. The resort is decent, though not that great, and for what I paid it didn't feel completely worth it. An average experience.

The beach view from my room was absolutely breathtaking, and I enjoyed the breakfast. The staff were very nice and helpful, and I really enjoyed the nearby clubs like Raeeth. I had a great stay at this hotel. Be aware that Restaurant/Club CO2 is next door and plays very loud music throughout the night. You can hear it clearly in the room, so it might not suit anyone who has trouble sleeping with loud music nearby. I had no trouble sleeping at all.
