Summerville Beach Resort

The beach was well maintained, and it’s just a three-minute walk from the hotel. We enjoyed morning walks and relaxing on the beach shacks. We didn’t use the beach at the property, but saw adults and kids using it regularly. We were a couple and stayed four nights. The front desk team were friendly and took good care of us, especially Anand, who was always smiling and quick to help. We rented a scooty from the hotel and check-out was seamless. Breakfast was very good. Suraj from the restaurant was helpful, and when we left early for the Shudhsagar falls trip, he packed breakfast for us. I’d highly recommend this nice, affordable place in North Goa.

Dinner was the best part of the food for us. The veg schezwan noodles and veg biryani were delicious, especially the biryani, which was really good and well worth recommending. We also ordered haldi wala dudh. We stayed with family, and Candolim Beach is within walking distance. Our ground-floor room was reasonably priced, though I thought it was quite small for the cost. Otherwise things were fine. The staff were professional, friendly, understanding, and provided good service. There’s a small, clean, well-maintained pool and a restaurant just for guests, open until 10:00 PM, with vegetarian and non-vegetarian choices. Breakfast was included from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM. It had idli, upma, sambar, coconut chutney, tea, coffee, bread, butter, jam, eggs, omelette, and bananas. The taste and quality were average, not very good.

Shuvankar and Surjit were especially courteous, supportive, and attentive throughout our stay. The whole team made us feel welcome, and their warm, helpful attitude made the visit memorable. Everything ran smoothly from check-in through check-out. We had a wonderful time at SummerVille resort. I’d recommend it and look forward to coming back.

The rooms were clean and good, and the staff were nice. The stay itself was good, but the property's exterior looked untidy. Please repaint the entrance building, inside and out, as soon as possible. The breakfast spread was poor because of a gas issue. We ate breakfast outside all three days.
