Kahani Paradise

The property and its location are beautiful, but the staff were very rude. I was there for an event and asked for a buggy tour of the property. They brushed off the request as if it didn't matter. That interaction made me think the staff were poorly trained. I wouldn't book this place for anything again. There are much better resorts in Karnataka and Kerala with better hospitality.

Getting to Kahani Paradise can be tricky: the approach is a muddy track and isn't clearly shown on Google Maps. Call ahead for directions, and bring essentials, snacks, or drinks, since going back out once you've arrived isn't easy. When possible, staff can help arrange provisions. The peaceful sunset spot looking over Paradise Beach was a highlight, with breathtaking views. Greenery surrounds the property, and its British-era vacation-home character gives it a nostalgic feel, with a little local touch added by the management. A property tour helped us get oriented and appreciate its history and layout. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Meals were freshly prepared on request, which made them feel special and homely. From arrival, the stay felt calm, warm, and thoughtfully curated. Kahani Paradise blends nature, heritage charm, and warm hospitality beautifully. Recommended for a peaceful getaway with lovely views and a unique stay.

Bryan, Melissa, the cooks, and the rest of the staff were caring, attentive, and very friendly. They made us feel right at home at Kashmiri Paradise Home Stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well kept, and the whole visit was pleasant and relaxing. Highly recommended.

The staff were wonderful, and Preema deserves a special mention. She's lovely and can sort out anything you need with a WhatsApp message. Ask the team questions or for arrangements, including transport to or from the property. On arrival, they can meet you in the nearby village, so keep an eye on your phone that day. The route initially made me wonder if I was going the right way, but the gates opened to a short drive and the front doors, with a special view of the estuary and Belekan beach beyond. It’s a great place to relax and be looked after. For a little activity, walk to either nearby beach or play jungle tennis, with the best backdrop of any court I've played on.
