The night receptionist's behavior was really bad. I'd suggest staying somewhere else.

The bathroom flush and shower weren't working, and there was a lizard crawling on the bed and later across the floor. The room itself was spacious, but it smelled so strongly of smoke that I had to leave the door open for about half an hour before it was bearable. The AC was just okay. For the price, it wasn't worth it, especially for a room I booked for my family.

The hotel staff behaved very badly.

The room we eventually got for the price we had booked was clearly not cleaned. There was iron all over the toilet and on the floor. When we complained, someone came in, flushed the toilet and splashed water around. We said that wasn't acceptable, but he laughed in our faces and walked out. The staff were rude, unhelpful and not understanding. We had booked two days ahead, but arrived late at night to be told there was no room. The man at the desk didn't speak any English; he just laughed and said they had nothing available. He handed us a phone to speak to the manager, who said we had to pay 1000 rupees, 200 more than our booking. The desk attendant was still laughing. Worst hotel experience I've had. Do not book here. Awful.
