Nirvana Sarovar Portico Gorakhpur

The road right outside had garbage and construction rubble, which the hotel should do something about even though it wasn't their fault. Inside, the stay was very nice. The extra bed was 1000 rupees and soft and fluffy. Breakfast had a good range and was excellent, and the fast elevators only open on your floor, which felt safe. The hotel sits centrally in Gorakhpur, with easy access to places, eateries nearby, and large modern supermarkets next door. It's one of the tallest buildings around, so the view is pretty great.

Anjali and Harsh at reception were very good at their jobs. The food was delicious and served warmly, thanks to the chef and service team for their effort. Housekeeping kept the room in good shape. One of the best places to stay in Gorakhpur.

At Sarovar portico, Anjali at the front desk made us feel welcome from check in through check out. She greeted us with a smile, handled things perfectly, and her dedication and positive attitude really added to our stay. The whole team was attentive, courteous, and ready to help with a smile. The driver arrangement was a concern for me. My driver wasn't happy with the shared accommodation, and I feel drivers deserve a clean bed, shower access, ventilation, and basic facilities, with dignity. The hotel is centrally located and convenient for city work. Anjali & Grism Panay and the front office team were polite, professional, and welcoming. The bed and towels were clean, hot water and pressure were fine, and the food was good, though breakfast was average. Restaurant staff were courteous. There were no welcome drinks, cookies, or fruit in the room. The TV remote and window blind roller didn't work at first, but maintenance fixed them after some time. I gave five stars this time because I understand keeping up positive social media feedback can be important and challenging. The staff were courteous and made a sincere effort to make the stay pleasant.
